Hi all!

I am soon to be going on an 8 week sabbatical and thought it would be a good idea to put my thoughts into a blog, I have never been a good writer by any means but I like the thought of writing a blog so here we are…

I guess I will write a little about my travels so far and where I have been:

Japan

My first major trip abroad!

Iceland

My first trip with friends, although an extremely expensive place, I highly recommend visiting at least once in your life!

 

Taiwan

Probably the favourite place I’ve travelled to, beautiful mountains, clean beaches and great food!

India

A bit of a culture shock but great to have 

Hong Kong

Despite it being known for its shopping and food there are some really beautiful hikes you can do and there is surfing too!

The plan for the sabbatical

Me and my friend Matt (who will be joining me for the first 5 weeks) are looking to travel to the following:

Home -> Sri Lanka -> Bali -> Syndey

At that point Matt will be making his way home and I haven’t quite yet planned what I will be doing but I am currently looking into South Korea, Singapore & Hong Kong!
